How StarSing collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal data — and how to delete it.
1. Who this covers
This policy explains how [StarSing Tech legal entity] ("StarSing") handles personal data across our ride-share and gig apps, websites, and related services.
2. Data we collect
- Account & profile: name, email, phone number, photo, and password.
- Location: precise device location before and during trips — including in the background while a trip is active — to match riders and drivers, navigate, and support safety. You control location permission in your device settings; some features won't work without it.
- Trip & usage: pickup/drop-off, routes, timestamps, and how you use the app.
- Payments: processed by [payment processor]. We receive confirmation and limited details (e.g. last four digits); we do not store full card numbers.
- Driver information: driver's licence, vehicle details, insurance, and background-check results from [background-check provider], where you sign up as a driver.

- Service providers — payment processor, mapping, background checks, cloud hosting, and analytics, acting on our instructions.
- Legal & safety — authorities when required by law or to protect people.
We do not sell your personal data. Any third party with whom we share data is required to provide the same or equal protection of that data as described in this policy and required by Apple's guidelines.
5. Retention & deletion
We keep personal data only as long as needed to provide the Service or meet legal, tax, safety, or dispute obligations, then delete or anonymise it. To delete your account and data, use Account → Delete account in the app or email [privacy@starsing.tech]. Some records may be retained where the law requires (for example, transaction or safety records); we'll tell you what and why on request.
6. Your choices & rights
You can access, correct, or delete your data, and revoke permissions such as location at any time in your device or account settings.
